Also, I just bought this gorgeous BFL/silk top from a local yarn shop. Three Waters Farm is a local farm that produces yarn, fiber, soap, and other things. I just got really nostalgic for spinning and wanted to buy this, even though I have lots of fiber already (to be fair the vast majority of it is undyed BFL my mom got me for my birthday for the purposes of dyeing…although she seems to think quantity is the only important factor, because 2 pounds of BFL I have to dye myself is totally the same as buying gorgeous fiber that other people make, right? ugh). I also bought a new spindle, because I lost my old one. I do own a wheel and haven’t really spun on a spindle since I got it (which was over 3 years ago), but I just got really nostalgic, like I said…and wanted to experience that spindle feeling again. It should hopefully be coming in the mail in a few days!
